Is it possible to create sub-menu entries in LXDE ??

Post by tantan »

Example: Menu -> Games -> { KDE games; GNOME Games ; RPG ; Puzzle ; ... }, where 'KDE games', 'GNOME games' etc are menus inside (main) menu 'Games'.
Or ...

Maybe you could try asking in the Peppermint forum? They use a tweaked menu (I don't know if they have tweaked sub-menus, though).

Nice tip about lxmed. It can be done from the command line too exploring the xdg-desktop-menu command (easy to create a custom menu entry but probably would give more work to create a whole custom menu tree).

It would be nice to have a 'alacarte-like' menu-editor in Lxde.
I have alacarte in Lxde, but it does not do everything right.
It also takes in a 'start applications at boot' thing. Very nice.
