[SOLVED] Lubuntu desktop error

Post by M_Mynaardt »

HI!

I inadvertently chose the Openbox menu for the right click on the desktop in Lubuntu. I can't seem to get it back to what I had and I therefore can't seem to change my desktop wallpaper as a result.

Does anyone know how to set this back to the Lubuntu default? Instead of the little Openbox menu, I want the desktop preferences menu and all that.

Thanks in advance!

Install Lubuntu control center then click on the "Background" icon, select the second tab and uncheck the check button.

I couldn't figure out how tin install the Lubuntu control centre. I tried the "sudo apt-get-repository" business, but that didn't do anything either.

I did get a solution from someone else that worked, though. I could bring up the Background menu with:

Code: Select all

pcmanfm --desktop-pref
That worked, and I was able to get things back to normal. But that Lubuntu Control Center looks cool too. Is there any other trick to installing it?

Thanks!
