Replaced kdm with lxdm - Now shutdown doesn't work

Post by licksde »

Hi,

I replaced my kdm with lxdm and now I no longer have Shutdown/Reboot options in LXDE (I can do this from lxdm itself).

Also 'Shutdown' in my default session (XBMC) now returns to the display manager instead of shutting down.

What do I need to do to get it working as expected?

OS: Fedora 12, Installed from KDE Live CD, converted to LXDE.

I'm told the problem lies with ConsoleKit? Which I can confirm to be running. I've also editted the .policy file and set everything to 'yes' but the problem persists. KDM works fine so I'm running with that for now but would like to ditch it in favour of LXDM.
