Try using Dropbox. It's easy and it's free.

Sorry, i wasn't really clear about what i want. I have a desktop system running Mint 14 and a desktop system running Lubuntu 12.10. Both are conntec to a Cisco router/modem provided by Ziggo (Dutch ISP). I want to set up a home network between both desktop systems usiong Gigolo. On the desktop with Mint setting folder/file sharing was easy, but i miss the option for it under Lubuntu.
