How to change lxpanel taskbar Window List appearance?

Post by xenphor »

I've tried some distributions which seem to have customized the window list in the taskbar, but now, having just done a base install of ubuntu with lxpanel+openbox, i can't seem to find any settings for that. Here's what it looks like now:

Is there a way I can either change the color of the minimized windows or add other customizations?

Welcome to the LXDE forum. You should be able to modify the LXPanel by right clicking the panel and choosing Panel Settings.

Yes I read most of the tutorials online about the lxpanel (you can see I already modified the background, icon sizes, etc..) as well as went through the configuration file many times but nowhere did I see any options to configure specifically the Window List in the taskbar. My primary question is how to change the color of the windows in the list so they better match the panel.

edit: btw it looks like the image is cut off because I do have the clock there at the end.
