Hello, I am looking for the menu configuration file. The Wiki says it is in ~/.config/menus/, and is called "lxde-applications.menu", but I have nothing there. I have dug around, but can't find it anywhere.
Where might I find the menu configuration file? Thanks!

Are you looking to add something to the menu? See here

edit: I think the file that you are looking for is
/etc/xdg/menus/lxde-application.menu

Thanks Rex, I looked at that but it appears to just be a bare skeleton of the categories, without the actual items themselves. I'm guessing that maybe it's "fleshed out" by reading the .desktop files instead of working from a master copy?Rex Bouwense wrote:

Also, in /etc/xdg/menus I found some other .menu files, like xfce-application.menu. Any idea on how I could go about using an xfce (or other) launcher menu in LXDE?

Re: Where is the menu configuration file?
Not sure if you are on Lubuntu but, go to the Lubuntu Software center or get on Synaptic, key word "Main menu" and click "add to basket" or install with Synaptic. It will be listed in your Accessories menu.

Thanks SS, I'm actually just on regular LXDE/Debian (no Lubuntu).
I've used Rex's location given to do what I wanted to do, so I think I'm happy now.
