virtualbox - usb problem see pendrive only as root

Witam
Mam lxde.
Zainstalowałem virtualbox.
Próbowałem jakąś wersję nr 4.
Uruchomiłem windowsa live cd z obrazu iso na virtualbox.
Włożyłem pendriva.
Linux lxde widiz tego pendriva.
W virtualbox nie ma żadnych urządzeń usb.
Jak otworzę eksploratora usb,to też nie widzę żadnych nowych urządzeń/dysków usb.
zainstalowałem oracle extension pack do virtuabox. On podobno daje obsługęusb2.0.
Oczywiście nadal nic.
