problems with some programs

hello
iam new at linux and i have some problems..
i hope you can help me

i have Ubuntu 13.10 - 64 Bit with LXDE

if i want to install programs like wine or software-center i get the message:
Recommends: jockey-common

when i try to install " jockey-common " i get the message:

Recommends: nvidia-common (>= 1:0.2.36)

when i try to install "nvidia-common" i get the message:

Recommends: jockey-common


what can i do to install "wine" for example???

hello,
you can change synaptic's preferences thus:
Synaptic Packet Manager => Settings => Preferences => UNcheck "Consider recommended packages as dependencies".

does that help?

anyway, as far as i know, you are not forced to to install recommended packages...
