Disable Alt-f menu shortcut

Alt-f appears to be a menu shortcut for File, similar to F10. I'd like to disable this so I can use Alt-f to move the cursor forward a word, but I cannot find this in the preferences (you can disable F10, but not Alt-f). Where else would I be able to change this? Is there a specific config file that sets this?
