Changing terminal colors.

hi, I use the LXTerminal and it comes with black background and gray letter (really bad combination). I go to Edit>Preferences but the only options that appear are "terminal font" and "select by word characters"
isn't there a way to change the colors?

Any recent version of LXTerminal has color customization. If you go to Help/About, what is the version number that you are running.
