Any good way to do so? I've got a lot of stuff running (Eclipse, Tomcat, Chromium and Skype at least) and probably many other things in the background, which I installed and which eats lots of resources (~780 MB RAM, half of which goes to Eclipse). Can you please tell me what are the processes which will be loaded in RAM once you turn your machine on?
When I did fresh install there were only basic ubuntu stuff (not event software manager) and all the lx*** stuff as in lubuntu.
Ubuntu Minimal CD Natty Narwhal 11.04. Go here if you need othersYou have installed Ubuntu 11.04 mini or 10.04?

Done with remastersys. All went smooth and fast, even better than i expected. But I did backup function, cuz I needed home folder.
Took about 20 min for remastersys and about 10 to install (on VirtualBox machine with 512 MB RAM). Now I will be feeling safe , being able to restore fully working system in 10 min

Will test Wine and VirtualBox (for Windows tasks) and i guess i'll remove windows after that
