Default Applications?

Post by philip_rhoades »

People,

I am using:

Fedora 12 x86_64
lxde-common-0.4.2-2.fc12.noarch
lxde-settings-daemon-0.4.1-1.fc12.x86_64
thunderbird-3.0.1-1.fc12.x86_64

I have tried changing the default settings for saving attached mp3 files in:

pcmanfm-0.5.1-2.fc12.x86_64

and in TB itself but the changes don't work - do I need to set default applications/actions in LXDE somehow?

Thanks,

Phil.

Defaults for saving an attachment should be controlled by the email client (TB). When I right-click on a file in pcmanfm, the context menu includes an Open-with option. If you're looking to set a default app to play the mp3 file, I think this is the place
