LXTerminal doesn't start

LXTerminal doesn't start
I'm using Lubuntu 10.04. Sometimes when I run lxterminal, it doesn't start, but when I open XFCE4 Taskmanager I can see lxterminal session there. I try to kill and run lxterminal again but nothing happens. Is it a problem with permission? Because when this happens Lubuntu doesn't ask me for root password when I open Synaptic Package Manager or Firestarter firewall... What can I do now?

I've found the reason 
. Accidentally I closed Pidgin and many lxterminal windows appeared immediately, but not only Pidgin, it happened with Chrome sometimes. I think there are some conflicts between them.
