I can't access "examples" folder in lubuntu

Hi everyone! I'm very new to ubuntu and lubuntu. Just installed ubuntu 10.04 last week and installed the lubuntu desktop environment on it over the weekend.

Whenever I'm on lubuntu and i access pcman file manager and I click on the "examples" folder I get a window with the heading "error" and it says "command not found". But when I go to gnome desktop I can open this same "examples folder".

Is there a way to fix this?
