is that possible change size of xkb flags?

I need smaller sizes of flags shown by xkb.so plugin for lxpanel, they are TOO LARGE

of course I've tried just scale icons by graphics editor, but when I restart lxpanel - they appear scaled to old size

I don't see settings for xkb plugin to disallow icon scaling or set it's size in pixels

is that possible set icon size in plugin or panel settings? I can't use panel configuration utility but can change panel config file instead
