I am running the ARM version successfully on a Tegra 2 based Toshiba AC100. Runs fine! But there are some issues, most are not LXDE specific (some memory locks from mmcqd and Nvidia tegra driver not supported for Oneiric). But here are some smaller LXDE specific issues:
a) Font in LXpanel does not scale right, eg for clock if panel is vertical. This is known, but influences user experiences who want "Unity" like panel on the left
b) no busy notification (I posted this already in according thread). This is irritating.
c) doubleclick time is too low - I could fix this by editing config settings of gtk to 400ms, but unexperienced users might struggle here.
d) when I install different desktops (Xubuntu) things get messed up, e.g. apperance setting etc. Difficult to get it back right afterwards. There should be some documetation on how to do this as many users may want to switch from XFCE to LXDE.
e) I am running Maximus to utilize screen real estate. But I think just Openbox configuration might be better (lower on ressource consumption)? Some specific howto might be useful for that as well.
f) I lost the batery icon in the panel and could not figure out how to get it back. Also the power settings are gone. Might be a conflict with XFCE install?
Other that that my AC100 just flies. PCmanFM is just much faster than Thunar and all the other hepers (leafpad etc) all do open quicker than their XFCE counterparts. I would love to see some benchmark comparisons LXDE, XFCE with Android!

I have not used Lubuntu 11.10 for long but in that time I have been very impressed with the speed of my system. First off...because this is a lightweight distribution I didn't have to wait long for the download and installing was very easy and quick. I had my machine up and running in no time. I used alsamixer to get my speakers all working and my printer installed in less than five minutes. My machine is not old. I wanted to see how fast my machine would run compared to the more bulky Ubuntu versions.(I can run them all with no problem) I have 3 gigs of ram with a 500gb hard drive...ati 4850 graphics card and 2.8ghz processor.(not the latest and greatest but not a dinosaur either) I wanted to run docky but I have not been able to get xcompmgr to work to enable compositing so I switched to Cairo Dock which is working great. I have had no problems with anything...yet. Everything is working flawlessly and speed is amazing.
