I have installed lubuntu 13.10 throgh linux deploy in my tablet. I want to change the geometry of the lxde screen in vnc, as it appears very small. Can you guide me to adjust the screen size to 1280*900 ?

First Lubuntu 13.10 is no longer supported. It has reached its End Of Life. Recommend that you download and install Lubuntu 14.04 or upgrade to Lubuntu 14.04 which is a Long Term Support release.
The easiest way to adjust the monitor is to install Arandr from the repositories. See
