sir,
I have installed lubuntu 13.10 throgh linux deploy in my tablet. I want to change the geometry of the lxde screen in vnc, as it appears very small. Can you guide me to adjust the screen size to 1280*900 ?

First Lubuntu 13.10 is no longer supported. It has reached its End Of Life. Recommend that you download and install Lubuntu 14.04 or upgrade to Lubuntu 14.04 which is a Long Term Support release.
The easiest way to adjust the monitor is to install Arandr from the repositories. See

The first site talks about dual monitors but the information about Arandr is of interest.

what is vnc? a virtual machine of sorts?
