Hello,
I've got a Debian Wheezy amd64 build, and I'm a beginner. I was using LXDE without issues until my apt-get stopped working. After troubleshooting, I found that the glx-diversions package was causing problems and couldn't be uninstalled. I forcefully removed it, but now LXDE won't start, and I only boot into a terminal. When I run startx, I get a "xauth: timeout" message and then a black screen. I suspect the glx-diversions package is the issue, but I'm using all AMD components with no NVIDIA hardware, so I don't understand why it was installed in the first place.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
